Description

DUOS is a blade developed exclusively for the light-duty bandsaw machine. The twin set design prevents tooth stripping and chipping when cutting structural shapes while expanding the application range to include solid materials to full capacity.  DUOS has the ability to act as a conventional 5/7 pitch utilizing only the "A" teeth when cutting solid material.  DUOS uses both "A" & "B" teeth when cutting thin-wall structural tubing and shapes providing the performance qualities of a conventional 10/14 pitch.  For optimum results, Amada recommends limiting the size of materials to be cut through a range of 4".  DUOS is produced with the highest quality backing material with M42 edge strip assuring the longest possible blade life.
